Krafton has rolled out the 36.2 update for 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS'. This update features music and in-game elements created in collaboration with the artist 'aespa'.

Through this collaboration, an exclusive track titled 'Dark Arts', which weaves the PUBG lore into the signature aespa sound, will be released. 'Dark Arts' has been applied as the PUBG lobby music, and aespa-themed concert venues and hideouts have been added to the Miramar map.

The 'UGC Alpha' service, which allows users to create their own in-game modes, has entered its trial phase. Starting in August, when the service officially opens, any player with a PUBG Plus account will be able to create UGC Alpha custom match sessions.

'Dark Arts' is a track that captures the fierce resolve to claim victory amidst the struggle for survival. It blends an aggressive rhythm and fast-paced guitar work with the quintessential aespa style. The track is scheduled to be released on various music platforms on July 15.

Aespa concert venues have been placed in certain areas of Miramar, and some buildings in the map have been decorated as aespa hideouts. Additionally, if you perform the collaboration emote at dedicated emote stages located on the starting islands of maps like Erangel and Vikendi, you can dance along and cheer in sync with the aespa music video. This content is scheduled to be applied to console platforms via an update on July 17.

Meanwhile, the trial for the 'UGC Alpha', a User-Generated Content (UGC) system, has begun. This feature allows users to create and test their own in-game content. It will be expanded to all users with a PUBG Plus account starting in August and is scheduled to run for approximately three months until September. The UGC Alpha service is currently only available on PC.
