Smilegate is once again demonstrating its strength as a publishing partner.

On the 18th, Smilegate announced the worldwide early access launch of 'Neon Abyss 2' on Steam. Developed by Veewo Games, this multiplayer roguelike action title features expanded shooting mechanics compared to its predecessor.

Set in a cyberpunk world, Neon Abyss 2 combines explosive run-and-gun combat with an infinite array of item combinations, ensuring a fresh combat experience every time. Notably, unlike the original 'Neon Abyss', which sold over 1 million copies, this sequel introduces a new cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players.

The game offers over 30 types of weapons and items, including firearms, bats, blades, and magic. Players can freely combine these weapons to complete their own builds and create unique synergies and combos. With procedurally generated dungeon structures and strategic boss battles, the game maintains the core appeal of roguelike shooting action while providing a deeper gameplay experience. Thanks to the support of co-publishing partner Smilegate, the game now officially supports the Korean language.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the early access launch, Neon Abyss 2 is running a 10% discount promotion on Steam for two weeks.
