Krafton is set to drop the first DLC for its life simulation game, inZOI, titled 'Off to the Island'. The expansion launches globally for free on the 20th of this month at 3:00 PM, perfectly timed with the opening of Gamescom 2025. A Mac version of inZOI will also arrive on the same day.

This DLC introduces 'Cahaya', a new region inspired by the idyllic resorts of Southeast Asia. It is all about the harmony between urban life and nature, offering a laid-back lifestyle. Players can hop between the main island and the resort island to enjoy swimming, snorkelling, and operating boats. You can also get creative with Cahaya-themed architectural assets and dress up your 'Zois' in new hair, outfits, and accessories.

The update brings fresh gameplay mechanics to Cahaya and all existing regions. You can now engage in survival-style activities like farming, mining, jewellery crafting, fishing, and filling out your encyclopaedia. Plus, getting around just got easier with new vehicles including motorbikes and electric scooters.

Social interactions between Zois have seen a significant boost, featuring random social gatherings, inner-thought bubbles, and collaborative actions. The update also rolls out a comprehensive UX/UI overhaul, experimental gamepad support, and a fresh batch of 90 audio tracks. Remember, the Mac version launches alongside the DLC and is available for pre-order on the Apple Mac App Store and Steam, with the DLC provided completely free of charge.

Krafton is heading to Cologne, Germany, for Gamescom 2025 from the 20th to the 24th of this month, where a booth will be open for global players to get hands-on with the DLC. For those who can't wait, a new trailer will premiere during the 'Opening Night Live' event on the 19th. Additionally, an online showcase is scheduled for the 15th at 10:00 AM to spill the details, accompanied by an event on the dedicated DLC webpage.
