RedLab Games has officially launched its Web3 MMORPG, ROM: Golden Age, on Wemade's blockchain platform, WEMIX PLAY. The title went live on the 12th across 170 countries, though notably, the list excludes South Korea, China, and Singapore.

ROM: Golden Age is essentially the existing ROM: Remember of Majesty infused with blockchain mechanics. You can grab the client via Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the official website for a dedicated PC experience.

The developer clearly drummed up some serious hype before the launch, hitting over 5 million pre-registrations through a mix of friend invite campaigns, Q&A sessions, and early access events for Crystal tokens.

The game’s economy is built around a dual-token system involving CROM and Crystal tokens. RedLab Games has implemented a swap pool that lets you exchange CROM tokens for USDC.e—a stablecoin on the WEMIX 3.0 mainnet—and a staking system where depositing CROM earns you Crystal tokens as a reward.

Wemade is hosting the first broadcast following the launch on the 14th. WEMIX PLAY Center Head Seo Won-il and RedLab Games CEO Shin Hyun-keun are set to appear to discuss initial performance, token metrics, and ongoing launch events.
