Head Media Games has released their new title, 'CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights', which arrived in Early Access on Steam on the 3rd.

CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights drops players into a grim, noir-soaked dystopian prison city. It’s a unique blend of taxi simulation and vehicular action. While the title suggests a cyberpunk aesthetic, the setting is closer to a lawless city reminiscent of Gotham. Originally scheduled for a March release, the game was delayed and launched this September.

The game follows a taxi driver on a mission to rescue a sibling unjustly locked away. Players must complete tasks, fend off city gangs, and manage fuel. The taxi can be equipped with various weapons like machine guns, flamethrowers, and laser cannons to clear the streets. Beyond the first-person cockpit driving, there are also on-foot FPS segments for those who prefer exploring on foot.

Beyond simple taxi duties, there are complex missions such as finding keys in sewers or eliminating enemies. The 'Gentle Delivery' system requires players to manage the health of their cargo, while various weapons and armor plating help destroy enemy vehicles and gangs. Vehicle customization and mini-games are also included. It is reminiscent of a weaponized Delamain taxi.

The current Early Access version on Steam includes the first region and approximately 30 missions. The development team plans to focus on polishing core gameplay over the coming months and will add new regions with different visual and gameplay styles in the future.

CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights is available on Steam with a 20% discount for 15,600 won, and it officially supports Korean subtitles.
