A new narrative-driven strategy adventure, tasking you with turning former supervillains into heroes, has finally pinned down a release date.

AdHoc Studio announced via its official YouTube channel on the 17th that 'Dispatch' will launch on the 23rd. AdHoc Studio is a new developer formed by writers and directors who previously worked at Telltale Games, the team behind Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us.

Dispatch is a strategy adventure game where player choices are paramount. You step into the shoes of Robert Robertson, a hero known as 'Mecha Man' who has been sidelined from active duty due to a damaged combat suit. While waiting for his suit to be repaired, Robert takes on the role of rehabilitating former iconic villains, dispatching them to various assignments across the city to help them find a new path.

To assist in their rehabilitation, players must identify the personalities, flaws, and issues of each former villain and assign them to appropriate tasks. Furthermore, players must carefully choose their responses during dialogues, ranging from casual office breakroom chats to high-stakes life-or-death situations, as these choices influence the narrative flow.

The game also features a stellar voice cast that enhances immersion. The roster includes Aaron Paul (Toby Marshall in the Need for Speed film), Laura Bailey (Kaine in the Nier series and Abby in The Last of Us Part II), Erin Yvette (Ayre in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon), and Jeffrey Wright (Isaac Dixon in The Last of Us Part II).

AdHoc Studio has announced a weekly update schedule following the launch on the 23rd (Korea standard time). Episodes 1 and 2 will be available at launch, followed by episodes 3 and 4 on the 30th. The rollout continues on November 6th with episodes 5 and 6, and concludes on the 13th with episodes 7 and 8.

Dispatch will offer full official support for the Korean language.
