The first day of the 2025 Korea Esports League (hereafter 2025 KEL) Eternal Return finals is set to take place this coming Saturday, the 20th, at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), hosted alongside the Game Esports Seoul (GES 2025) festival.

Before the grand showdown, the 'Super Week Gyeongnam' held at the Gyeongnam Esports Arena on the 6th and 7th drew around 1,600 fans. Based on the cumulative prize money from the main event, the teams ▲FN Sejong (7.2 million KRW), ▲Daegu Suseong Guardians (5.9 million KRW), ▲Jecheon Phalanx (5.1 million KRW), and ▲All Ways Incheon (4.9 million KRW) have secured their spots for the second day of the finals, scheduled for Saturday, October 11, in Daejeon.

The first day of the 2025 KEL Eternal Return finals will feature teams ranked 5th to 12th in cumulative prize money: ▲Daejeon Autoarms, ▲Seongnam ROX, ▲CNJ Esports, ▲Gyeonggi Inate, ▲Busan BeSPA, ▲Gyeongnam Sparkle Esports, ▲New Rise Gangwon, and ▲Gwangju Slasher. The event will take place at the DDP Art Hall 2, held in conjunction with the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s 'Game Esports Seoul (GES 2025)'.

This marks the first offline KEL Eternal Return tournament in Seoul, and it will feature various on-site events. The venue will host booths for the participating teams, including morning fan signing sessions and an afternoon viewing party featuring the players who already secured their spots for the second day of the finals. The viewing party is free on a first-come, first-served basis, and fans can win chicken vouchers via on-site cheer-card verification or by participating in the online 'predict the surviving team' poll for each round.

The matches will be broadcast live via the official KEL Naver Chzzk, SOOP, and YouTube channels. Caster Cheonsia, along with commentators Nongroot and Kim In-young, will be calling the action, while Caster Shin-il will be handling the on-site interviews.
