Gravity is set to host the South Korea qualifier for its global esports tournament, 'ROS (Ragnarok Online Stars) 2025', for the PC MMORPG 'Ragnarok Online' on the 25th.

ROS 2025 is a global esports event where dedicated Ragnarok Online players compete, showcasing their tactical depth and teamwork. The previous event, held in Bangkok last October, was a resounding success, drawing over 10,000 local fans to the venue and racking up 350,000 views on the livestream. This year's tournament will take place in Bangkok this December, featuring national representatives from seven regions, including South Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

Gravity opened the registration page for the ROS 2025 South Korea qualifier back in August, wrapping up the application process on September 29. The event is structured to include the main tournament bracket, semi-finals, the grand final, an awards ceremony, and a briefing for ROS 2025. The main bracket and semi-finals will follow a best-of-five format, while the final showdown will be a best-of-seven affair.

Things are looking a bit more refined than last year. They have added six new arenas, including the Horror Toy Factory, Forgotten Glast Heim, and Niflheim Banquet Hall. Furthermore, they’ve tweaked the balance of 11 key skills—including Stasis, Full Throttle, and Cross Impact—to ensure a much tighter, more competitive environment. The winning team of the South Korea qualifier earns their ticket to the ROS 2025 main event, with all expenses covered. They will also bag an in-game 'ROS Korea 1st Place Box' and a cool 1.4 million won in free cash. Runners-up and third-place teams won't leave empty-handed either, receiving free cash, commemorative boxes, and Ragnarok World Books. Every single participant will receive a participant box and VIP benefits for 2026.

For those heading to the venue, there is plenty to do. Simply verify your attendance via social media to bag some prizes, with early birds even snagging Ragnarok Kakao emoticons. The team is also planning side events, including PvP matches against the staff and spontaneous activities during setup times to keep the energy high.

The day will also feature the fifth week of 'TRC (THE Ragnarok Championship)', the global guild battle for 'THE Ragnarok'. As this marks the final match for the South Korean region since the series began in September, the results will determine which guild secures a spot in the TRC finals.
