Kakao Games announced on the 17th that it has launched its 2025 year-end update for 'Odin: Valhalla Rising', the MMORPG developed by Lionheart Studio.

First, the 'Year-End & New Year 21-Day Attendance' event will run until January 21, providing players with five types of coupons daily (for avatars, mounts, pets, weapon shapes, and unique-grade accessory restoration). Additionally, through the 'Year-End & New Year Exchange Event', players can obtain various items and exchange materials in the Christmas-themed elite dungeon, 'Joyful Winter Festival'. These materials can be traded for items such as 'Christmas Sock Gift Bags' and other growth-boosting materials.

Along with this, the 'Midwinter Gift Festival Entry Event' will also be held. Players can obtain 'Midwinter Lucky Snowflakes' in the field, which can be used to enter raffles for physical prizes and merchandise, including the 2026 Odin calendar.

This update introduces the 'Refining' system, which allows players to add fixed options to unique-grade accessories. Players can refine these accessories using 'Refining Stones', which also grant experience points. Once the cumulative experience threshold is reached, the refinement effect is activated.

In addition, a new accessory type, the 'Buckle', has been added, and new Void Summoning entities have appeared in the 6th chapter, 'Asgard'. To enhance user convenience, a feature to unequip all runes at once has been added, and gear preset slots have been expanded from three to five.

Meanwhile, Kakao Games will conduct server transfers on the 18th and 20th. Players wishing to transfer servers can use a server transfer ticket to move all character data from their current server to another.

Furthermore, the 'Year-End & New Year Special Mission Event' will run until January 21 to celebrate the new refining system. Players can earn rewards such as 'Refining Stone Boxes' based on the amount of refining experience gained.

Two additional events to support gear crafting have also been prepared. The 'Roskva’s Gear Crafting Support Event' will run until January 21, rewarding players who complete missions with 'Andvari’s Design Fragment Selection Box' and 'Ivaldi’s Design Fragment Selection Box'. Additionally, the 'Roskva’s Design Crafting Support Event' will run until March 15; players who complete the event missions can obtain 'Ivaldi’s Design Crafting Powder' and 'Andvari’s Design Crafting Powder', which can be used to craft Andvari and Ivaldi weapon, armor, and accessory designs.
