Riot Games released the cinematic video 'Salvation' for League of Legends (LoL) 2026 Season 1 on the 8th.

In this cinematic, Riot Games showcases the key heroes of Demacia. It depicts heroes such as ▲Garen, ▲Sona, and ▲Shyvana struggling on the battlefield to uphold justice. The Ionian hero 'Yunara' also appears in the middle of the video, creating a connection to the previous season.

The background music, 'Salvation (ft. Forts)', was produced by composer J.D. Spears, who won the 'Best Original Score - Video Game (Console/PC)' at the 2025 Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) for 'Welcome to Noxus', released last year.

Meanwhile, players can enjoy the new LoL season starting from noon on the 8th. On Friday the 9th, they can also check out the in-game changes through the event '2026 LoL Season Opening: For Demacia', where LCK players will form teams by position to compete.
