Connected Shadow Games has announced that its cooperative horror title, Twilight Moonflower, will officially launch on Steam worldwide this coming 30th, as confirmed on the 29th.

Designed for up to four players in online co-op, this Japanese-style horror experience has already drummed up quite a bit of interest, with roughly 60,000 people participating in an end-credit project on X. Twilight Moonflower will be priced at 860 yen (approximately 7,500 won), with a 20% discount available for the first two weeks post-launch.

Twilight Moonflower drops you into a procedurally generated residential area in the dead of night. Your goal is to identify and seal off ominous 'anomalies' before making your escape. The key to cracking the game lies in spotting subtle, unsettling deviations in an otherwise mundane neighborhood. Keep your wits about you, though; creatures inspired by Japanese folklore and yokai roam the streets, ready to strike if they catch you. You'll need to rely on sound and intuition, carefully navigating while using items to pinpoint those spectral anomalies.

Don't get too comfortable, as the environment shifts every time you play. Building layouts, street arrangements, and the spawn points for anomalies and items are all randomized, keeping the experience fresh. Exploring a pitch-black neighborhood with nothing but a flashlight is a masterclass in tension. The constant switch between the shock of being spotted and the creeping dread of discovery will certainly keep you on edge.

With support for up to four-player online multiplayer, the game lets you decide how to survive. You can work together to secure a group escape or, if you're feeling a bit cheeky, sacrifice your mates to save your own skin. The lack of rigid roles breeds a delightful sense of paranoia and psychological warfare over items and hiding spots. The game launches with support for five languages: Korean, Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
