Smilegate released a massive update for Neon Abyss 2 on the 29th. This update brings significant changes to the overall gameplay experience, including a new agent, new bosses, and a major overhaul of core systems.

First, a new agent named Cassie has been added to the game. Cassie features a combat style distinct from existing agents, providing players with diverse strategic options and a fresh flow of gameplay.

Additionally, the character progression system has been revamped to be more intuitive. Core stats have been organized into six categories, and a system to convert relics into stat gems has been introduced, expanding the possibilities for permanent growth and build customization.

A new facility, the Training Center, has also been added. The Training Center allows players to test weapon performance, measure damage, and conduct various experimental plays. It provides an opportunity to freely test combat combinations and strategies, helping both veterans and newcomers adapt to the game system easily.

Finally, boss content has been enhanced. The boss 'Prometheus' from the previous title returns as free DLC, and new regular bosses have been added to add variety to combat encounters.
