Indie Asylum, a Montreal-based incubator and accelerator, has partnered with La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec to host a Quebec Games celebration on Steam, scheduled to run from February 16 to February 23. This event is set to be the largest of its kind, featuring over 300 games developed or published in Quebec.

Developers of all sizes, from indie studios and solo creators to AA and AAA studios, will participate in the sale. Participating studios are expected to offer significant discounts, engaging demos, and exclusive live streams for both popular titles and new releases. Kevin Chansee, Marketing Director at Indie Asylum, stated, "We are incredibly proud to host the Quebec Games celebration for the fourth consecutive year." He added that this Steam sale is "the largest regional event on the platform, providing a rare opportunity for Quebec developers to showcase their work to millions of players and invite them to discover the depth, creativity, and expertise of the local industry."

The sale includes major titles that have seen success in the Quebec region over the past year. Notable examples include Thunder Lotus’s 33 Immortals, Rogue Factor’s Hell is Us, Clever Endeavour’s Ultimate Sheep Racoon, and Pengonuts’ Star Raiders. Additionally, titles such as Double Stallion’s Surfunk, Mooncube Games’ Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, Red Barrels’ The Outlast Trials, and Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight will be featured. A diverse range of other games, including Paper Cult’s Tears of Metal, Chasing Rats Games’ Worship, Nine Dots Studio’s Outward 2, and Gameloft Montreal’s Disney Dreamlight Valley, are also participating in the event.

This year, for the first time, Indie Asylum will broadcast a special showcase to provide additional visibility for 30 participating studios. The showcase will feature exclusive announcements for each trailer, including game reveals, teasers, release dates, platform updates, and new gameplay content. The participating studios range from well-established Quebec veterans to emerging indie studios to watch. Further details regarding the showcase are scheduled to be released on February 12.
