Inplay Interactive has announced, in collaboration with developer TT Games, the LEGO Group, DC, and publisher Warner Bros. Games, that the PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 retail versions of 'LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight' will arrive a week earlier than planned, now hitting shelves on May 22. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch 2 version is slated for a 2026 release, and you can already add it to your wishlist.

This new LEGO Batman title is an open-world action-adventure game that charts Bruce Wayne’s rise to become the hero of Gotham City. Drawing inspiration from decades of Batman films, TV shows, comics, and games, this iteration of Gotham is stuffed with DC Comics lore and the signature wit we’ve come to expect from TT Games.

Fancy a bit of nostalgia? At launch, players can unlock the 'Golden Age Batsuit'. Based on the iconic outfit worn by the Caped Crusader in his 1939 debut in Detective Comics #27, this suit is available to anyone who creates, or already possesses, a Warner Bros. Games account.

Four new LEGO DC Batman sets are out now, each packed with digital in-game content for 'LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight'. Snag the 'LEGO DC Batman: Batman Logo Set' to unlock the exclusive in-game 'Gold Batsuit'. Furthermore, the 'LEGO DC Batman: The Batman Batmobile', 'LEGO DC Batman: Batman v Superman Batmobile', and 'LEGO DC Batman: Batman & Robin Batmobile' sets each grant you an in-game playable version of the vehicle, complete with an exclusive 'Gold Variant'. Just a heads up: these gold-themed goodies are locked behind these specific physical set purchases.
