Netmarble has rolled out a fresh update for the open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, developed by Netmarble F&C, bringing the legendary hero 'Escanor' and the thirteenth act of the main storyline into the fray.

Escanor is a member of the original 'The Seven Deadly Sins' and is considered the strongest character in the world. He uses the magic 'Sunshine', which makes him arrogant and boisterous during the day, but humble at night.

In the game, Escanor wields an axe, a greatsword, and a sword-and-shield, delivering powerful attacks while inflicting burn effects on enemies. To mark his arrival, Netmarble has also added dedicated engraving gear and his iconic sacred treasure, 'Divine Axe Rhitta'.

The new main story, Act 13: 'The Rising Sun', has also been added. It follows the story of Meliodas and Hawk, who realize they are in the future through Tristan, as they encounter Galand of the Ten Commandments while searching for their allies.

Along with this, a new area, the 'Beautiful Boar Hat Pub', has been introduced. Located south of the Vanya Plains, this unexplored space features new foraging items, cooking ingredients, and minerals.

'Galand' appears as a new boss challenge. He periodically inflicts a 'taboo' status on players; if you perform a forbidden action while under this effect, your character will be turned to stone and suffer health loss. Clearing the Hell difficulty allows you to obtain the 'Madness Demon Eye', a material required to craft the legendary 'Soul-Devouring Axe'.

To celebrate the update, a login event will run until May 13, where players can obtain the 'Arrogant Moustache Hawk' mount, the 'Wise Big-Hoho' flying pet, and pick-up hero summoning tickets.

Players can also test out the new hero 'Escanor' and complete challenges to earn Star Fragments and High-Grade Mastery EXP. Additionally, content for returning players and system improvements have been implemented.
