Nexon rolled out the 'DOMINION' season update for the HIT2 cross-inter dungeon 'Void Battlefield' on the 29th.

Applied to both Origin and Classic servers, the 'DOMINION' season shakes up the rules of the existing 'Void Battlefield'. For starters, the 1st-floor capture points now award bonus points based on the total time held rather than full ownership, and all capture stones are unlocked from day one to ensure the competition is as cutthroat as you'd expect. Meanwhile, in the 2nd-floor region, they have rejigged the system so that contribution is tallied based on the damage dealt to the boss 'Marduk', allowing a wider array of guilds to grab a piece of the rewards.

They have also given the 'Dual Sword' class a bit of a facelift. By injecting defense stats into the passive skill tree while keeping that signature high-speed attack style, players can now juggle both offense and defense with more finesse. Furthermore, the 'Flash Closer' skill has seen its utility bumped up, and a cheeky new option allows you to trigger 'Absolute Evasion' even while you are in a 'Stun' state.

In celebration of The Kingdom of the Winds' 30th anniversary, Nexon is dropping two new character appearances: 'Walsuk' and 'Baldy', alongside a raft of events. Until May 13, if you hop into the event dungeon 'Suspicious Beginner Hunting Ground' on both Origin and Classic servers, you can snag 'Acorn' buff items. You will also earn 'The Kingdom of the Winds Coins' based on monster kills and chest loot, which can be traded for various goodies.

Once you have enough 'The Kingdom of the Winds Coins', Origin server players can trade them for items like three 'Great Treasure Hunter Guaranteed Summon Tickets', while Classic server players can get their hands on one 'Ancient Class Guaranteed Summon Ticket IV'. Additionally, everyone who logs in by the 27th will receive a 'HIT THE Gift Box', which contains the 'HIT THE Weapon/Accessory/Armor Coupon'.

On a side note, HIT2 is currently taking pre-registrations for the new master dungeon 'Primeval Forest' until May 26.
