Krafton has released the main trailer for the new cooperative heist mode in 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS', titled PAYDAY. The trailer features an original track crafted by artist 070 Shake specifically for the game. This PAYDAY mode was co-developed with Starbreeze Entertainment, the creators of the globally renowned PAYDAY IP.

The PAYDAY mode is a limited-time cooperative mode where players form teams to secure objectives and escape. It shifts the focus away from repetitive combat, prioritizing stealth, planning, and role distribution. Players can choose from five distinct classes: Assault, Medic, Defender, Sniper, and Infiltrator.

Gameplay revolves around securing objectives such as vaults, data, and cash across various stages, including The Exchange, Diamond District, Nightclub, and Road Rage. Players can choose between a stealth-based approach or a 'Loud' approach using heavy firepower, allowing for strategic flexibility.

The main trailer showcases a cinematic heist concept set in an urban environment. It highlights the cooperative gameplay through a mix of stealth and combat. The video focuses on characters wearing iconic masks as they secure their targets and escape, with the collaboration track 'Baby Driver' by 070 Shake enhancing the immersion.
