NC's 'Aion Mobile', which was previously teased during the company's earnings call last November, has officially secured its foreign game license in China, finally gaining some much-needed momentum for its release.

The National Press and Publication Administration of China unveiled the results for this year's foreign licenses on the 23rd, and the new Aion title made the list. The Chinese title, 'Yonghengzhita: Jingdian' (永恒之塔：经典), translates to 'Aion Classic'.

NC has been collaborating with the Chinese publisher Shengqu Games to bring this title to life. During an earnings call held last November, NC CFO Hong Won-jun stated that Shengqu Games intends to launch the title within the Chinese market in 2026.

NC has confirmed that this newly licensed project is indeed the same game mentioned during that previous call. An official from NC noted, 'As part of our strategy to expand our legacy IP and regional reach, we are putting our best efforts into delivering a quality experience.'
