The first campaign trailer for 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4' has been revealed, featuring a setting based in South Korea.

Activision and Infinity Ward released the teaser for Modern Warfare 4 on the 31st via the official Call of Duty YouTube channel. It showcases scenes from the early access campaign mission, 'Losing Ground'.

The trailer features the protagonist, Private Park Hyun-jun, and his squad. Immediately following the start of a full-scale North Korean invasion, the streets of Seoul are engulfed in flames, and the South Korean squad is forced to retreat. Eventually, an attack helicopter appears, firing missiles and devastating the battlefield.

Modern Warfare 4 is the latest entry in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. Set in South Korea during the outbreak of the Second Korean War, the story follows the frontline experiences of Private Park Hyun-jun and the journey of Captain Price, who has become a rogue agent.

The game will be released on October 23 for Xbox, PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Purchasers of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Vault Edition can play the campaign one week early, starting October 16. The Vault Edition is priced at $99.99 (approximately 142,970 KRW).
