Epic Games is teaming up with Gen.G Esports to host 'Spotnite,' a LAN party featuring a 'Squid Game' theme and various side events. The event will be held from July 5 to 18 at GGX, Gen.G's multi-cultural hub located at B3, 264 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul.

On the opening day, July 5, 220 pre-registered fans will participate in an event match on the 'Squid Ground' map, specifically designed for Fortnite Reload. Participants will be randomly assigned to squads on-site, with influencers like KimBlue, TesterHoon, Coa, Ambition, and Gen.G Esports streamers joining the fray to turn up the heat. Prizes include Logitech gaming gear for lucky attendees, and the MVP of the match will be awarded an LG UltraGear gaming monitor.

Once the matches wrap up, the program shifts to fan engagement. Attendees can look forward to Q&A sessions with KimBlue, TesterHoon, Coa, and Ambition, along with a polaroid photo session for selected fans.

The venue remains open until July 18 with a variety of activities. Visitors can test their aim in a shooting challenge to experience Fortnite's gunplay, or try their hand at nostalgic mini-games like gonggi, biseokchigi, and ddakji, which have seen a resurgence thanks to the Squid Game series. There is also a weapon-matching card game suitable for all ages. Visitors can participate in a stamp rally; instead of paper, you collect mobile stamps by participating in on-site games or by verifying your Fortnite playtime at the PC stations.

The venue also features themed photo zones equipped with props from both Fortnite and Squid Game. Visitors can freely use Squid Game costumes and Fortnite weaponry for photos and videos, and participate in an SNS verification event.
