Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (hereinafter BIC Organizing Committee) have unveiled the 12 organizations participating in 'Public Indie', a non-competitive booth program for public institutions and schools at the upcoming Busan Indie Connect Festival 2025 (hereinafter BIC 2025), held at BEXCO in Busan from August 15 to 17.

Public Indie is a non-competitive booth program introduced by BIC in 2023 to highlight the public nature and diversity of the creative ecosystem. Depending on their participation category (Class A~C), these institutions will present their unique exhibition concepts and efforts to foster the creative ecosystem to visitors.

Class A booths will feature the Daejeon Global Game Center, Busan Global Game Center, and the Korea Creative Content Agency's Game Talent Institute. Class B will host B-Lounge, Daegu Global Game Center, Jeonbuk State Content Convergence Agency, and Chungnam Content Institute. Class C features the Busan Content Academy, MyMe Game Jam, Gyeonggi Global Game Center, Keimyung University's Immersive Media Innovation Convergence University Project Group, and Jeonju University's Immersive Media Innovation Convergence University Project Group.

BIC Festival 2025 will hold its online exhibition from August 8 to 29, with the offline exhibition taking place at BEXCO, Busan, from August 15 to 17.
