NEXON is gearing up for the 10th anniversary of NYPC by launching the 'NYPC Code Battle: Campus League', a special event for university students across the country.

'NYPC Code Battle' is the nation’s first AI-driven team strategy programming competition, where participants solve problems without a single fixed answer. Participants can sharpen practical skills related to game development, such as AI and optimization, and test their own AI code within a simulation environment based on NEXON's intellectual property.

This NYPC Code Battle: Campus League is a special event where students can experience practice problems in a gaming format, and it is open to all university students. Participants play a 1-on-1 strategy puzzle game against an AI, and the goal is to occupy more territory than the AI to win.

University rankings are determined by cumulative points, and the top three universities will be rewarded with a 'Pink Bean' snack truck. The top five individuals in the personal rankings and 100 randomly selected participants will receive prizes such as gift vouchers and chicken sets.

Meanwhile, the NYPC Code Battle is open to any undergraduate student or anyone aged 20 to 25 (born between 2001 and 2006), and teams can be formed with 1 to 4 members.

Applications are accepted until August 18 via the official website. To help participants check problem types and the competition environment in advance, online practice problems are available until the end of the recruitment period.
