A massive update centered on 'unions' has arrived in R2, specifically tailored for new and returning players.

On the 17th, Webzen announced the launch of its major second-half update for 'R2 (Reign of Revolution)', titled 'The R2loaded Part 5-UNION'. Since 2023, 'The R2loaded' has served as the flagship update series, refreshed annually with distinct themes to provide new experiences in R2.

True to the name 'UNION', this update focuses heavily on fostering alliances, expanding benefits for newcomers and returnees, and bolstering guild-based content. The developer has introduced exclusive materials and servants for new and returning players. Furthermore, the developer has refined the onboarding experience by upgrading the novice assistant NPC and raising the level caps for beginner-friendly equipment. The maximum guild level has been increased from 10 to 15, accompanied by the addition of a new guild dungeon, the 'Dark Priest Temple Prison'.

To help players grow together, the developer has implemented a 'Gear Awakening' system, which temporarily boosts enhancement levels. Two new skins, 'Blood Moon Nine Tail' and 'Holy Angelis', have also been introduced.

To celebrate the update, R2 is hosting a variety of events, including a limited-time 2x guild experience boost, a guild level race, and various seasonal events scheduled for July.
