Nexon is hosting its MapleStory IP festival, 'MAPLE CON 2025', in Taiwan this August and in the United States this October.

Maple Con is a festival where the MapleStory IP comes together in one place. The inaugural event, held at KINTEX in Ilsan last December, attracted approximately 10,000 visitors over three days.

This year, the event will be held in Taiwan and the U.S. to celebrate the 20th anniversary of MapleStory's service in those regions. MapleStory has approximately 150 million cumulative registered users worldwide. Through these overseas events, Nexon aims to increase the visibility of the MapleStory IP and continue its expansion both domestically and internationally.

'Maple Con 2025 Taipei', taking place in Taipei from August 2 to 3, will feature an official merchandise store, Maple Island-themed installations and photo booths, merchandise customization programs, interactive stage events, and a marketplace for fan-made creations.

The event will also attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the 'largest human-shaped Orange Mushroom' with over 2,000 participants. In 2017, the local event successfully earned a Guinness record for the 'largest human-shaped maple leaf'.

In late October, 'Maple Con Los Angeles 2025' will be held in Los Angeles, USA. The event will feature activities to commemorate the 20th anniversary of MapleStory's global service, with further details to be announced later.
