Electronic Arts (EA) and Battlefield Studios dropped the official trailer for Battlefield 6 on the 25th, finally giving us a proper look at what’s brewing.

Battlefield 6 marks the latest entry in the long-running series, having first teased its existence back in March. The title promises a dynamic battlefield where you can blast through walls or bring entire buildings crumbling down to tilt the odds in your favour, and introduces a system where you can unlock ‘Ultimate Abilities’ by leveling up specific classes. Naturally, the usual chaos of aerial and ground warfare, featuring jets and tanks, remains a core staple of the experience.

The trailer introduces ‘Pax Armata’, a private military corporation backed by former NATO nations, as the new rising threat. This group is set to act as the central antagonist, weaving through both the multiplayer and single-player campaigns to disrupt the world’s fragile status quo.

The Steam page has also gone live. You can check out the new trailer and screenshots there, along with the confirmation that the game will feature full Korean subtitles and voice acting. As for the price and release date, EA is keeping those details under wraps for the time being.

Mark your calendars for August 1st at 4:30 AM, when a live showcase will pull back the curtain on the multiplayer content. The core development team at Battlefield Studios will be present to walk us through the new maps and a mix of fresh and returning multiplayer modes.

Right after the showcase, popular creators from major cities like LA, Berlin, Paris, and London will take the stage to live-stream their first hands-on experience with Battlefield 6. A follow-up event is also scheduled to take place in Hong Kong on August 2nd.

Every event will be broadcast live via the official EA YouTube channel and will remain available to watch on the official EA website as a VOD for 12 months after the broadcast concludes.
