NEXUS is currently putting its foot on the gas, securing a diverse range of titles and forging strategic partnerships to breathe life into its open blockchain game platform, CROSS.

Take the recent deal on the 25th, for instance, where NEXUS inked a strategic partnership with PIXEL PIE, the team behind 'Gran Saga Idle'. PIXEL PIE plans to bring an upcoming project from a soon-to-be-established subsidiary onto the CROSS platform, with the door left wide open for further investment and technical collaboration.

Furthermore, NEXUS has made a strategic investment into Polestar Games, the studio currently crafting 'Project N'. Built by the core talent behind storied MMORPGs like 'Dekaron' and 'Lost Kingdom', Polestar Games is now bolstered by NEXUS's backing, joining an existing roster of heavy-hitting investors such as Kakao Ventures and Daesung Private Equity.

Aimed at the AAA MMORPG market, 'Project N' leverages the proprietary 'Aurora' engine to render a 60km-scale, realistic open world. The developer is pushing for the evolution of the genre by introducing inventive mechanics like the Paging Layer System (PLS), which dynamically shifts the game space based on player activity. To keep such a massive project efficient, the developer is also heavily integrating AI technology into the development pipeline.

NEXUS also previously invested in Dexa Studio, a firm founded by seasoned MMORPG veterans, which is currently working on its next-gen project. Meanwhile, the blockchain version of 'Rohan 2', another MMORPG currently in its final polishing phase, is eyeing a late September launch with its tokenomics now set in stone. Given that the MMORPG genre shares a natural synergy with blockchain-based economic structures, it is expected that these titles will usher in a new era of user-driven tokenomics.

On that note, CEO Jang Hyun-guk has repeatedly emphasised that, at the end of the day, the core essence of any blockchain game must remain the fun.
