Overwatch 2 is teaming up with the global dart-blaster brand NERF for a collaboration that kicks off on the 6th (local time).

Running until the 19th, this event introduces hero and weapon skins inspired by NERF blasters, along with a fresh game mode and plenty of rewards to earn.

First off, we are getting weapon skins modeled after classic NERF blasters. These can be equipped over existing hero skins, and rest assured, every shot will feature foam darts. Cassidy, the star of this crossover, gets the special Maverick blaster design, complete with unique sound effects, and a legendary Vortex Football hero skin.

Alongside Cassidy, Tracer arrives wielding Gelfire Pros, while Genji swings the Slingerang and Power Blast Bat. Mei brings the pressure with the classic Super Soaker XP100, Hanzo arms the Big Bad Bow, Baptiste fires the latest Galactic Commander, and Soldier: 76 rounds out the roster with the N Series Pinpoint, adding a plastic, tactile charm to all that precision.

During the event, players can jump into a new mode called 'It's NERF or Nothing', where eight players compete to reach 20 eliminations first. You start as a random hero—excluding Mercy and Lifeweaver—and switch to a new one after every kill, with some featuring new NERF blaster skins. Die three times and you swap heroes, but beware: you cannot reuse a hero once played. To keep the chaos high, everyone benefits from an 80% cooldown reduction; however, your ultimate charge resets upon death, though you do start fresh with 15% charge when swapping heroes.

Beyond the mayhem, you can complete event challenges to snag themed sprays, player icons, a foam dart weapon charm, the Tracer Gelfire Pro weapon skin, and up to 40,000 Battle Pass XP. Bundles containing all these weapon skins are also available in the shop.
