Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee (hereafter BIC Organizing Committee) have unveiled the key on-site events for the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2025 (hereafter BIC 2025), set to run from August 15 to 17.

The main event, 'Spirit Puzzle', revolves around a puzzle board found on your leaflet. Complete a mission or join an activity, and you earn a sticker to fill a square. Each completed square nets you a lucky draw ticket, giving you a daily shot at various prizes before the festival wraps up each evening.

This year, the festival floor is curated into four 'Indie Spirit Zones'—Action, Adventure, Healing, and Challenge—based on the primary genres chosen by the developers themselves.

The floor is filled with drop-in activities. Try your hand at 'Catch Spirit', where you attempt to snag falling sticks; manage to catch them all, and you will walk away with an extra gift. Alternatively, there is 'Easter Egg Indie', a treasure hunt where you must track down secret codes hidden throughout the venue to claim a reward at the information desk.

Beyond these, you will find 'Developer's Wall' for a peek behind the curtain at development stories, 'Photo Box Indie' for those four-cut snapshots, 'Wishlist Indie' for sharing your personal favorites, and 'Inventory Indie', a showcase of exhibition merchandise complete with booth numbers.

The heart of the action lies at the main stage, where live, audience-participatory events will run for all three days. The stage design is open on all four sides, ensuring that visitors can flow through the venue and jump into the festivities from any direction.

You can also keep an eye out for 'Snap Zone', where you must capture and verify the appearance of Jon, the official BIC virtual influencer, on the main screen. There is also the 'Halftime OX Quiz', a test of wits to crown the final survivor.

Joo Seong-pil, the Chair of the BIC Organizing Committee, stated, "We have designed this year's BIC offline festival to move beyond mere observation, turning the attendees into the protagonists of the festival. We hope everyone finds their own 'Indie Spirit' while completing the puzzle and wandering the venue, truly immersing themselves in the fun."

BIC 2025 will be held from August 15 to 17 at BEXCO Exhibition Centre 1, Hall 1. You can purchase tickets at the on-site ticket booth.
