The legendary player exhibition, the 'ICON MATCH', is making its grand return this year.

Nexon announced on the 21st that ticket sales for the '2025 ICON MATCH: The Return of Creativity, The Beginning of the Counterattack' (hereinafter 2025 ICON MATCH), featuring world-renowned football legends for EA SPORTS FC Online and EA SPORTS FC Mobile, are officially underway.

The 2025 ICON MATCH is scheduled for the 13th and 14th. Tickets for the event match on the 13th and the main match on the 14th can be purchased on the limited edition trading platform KREAM on August 21st and 22nd. Pre-sale for FC Online and FC Mobile users begins on the 21st at 6 PM, requiring a pre-sale code obtained through prior events. General sales open on the 22nd, with tickets for the 6 PM event match and 8 PM main match available to the public.

Alongside the ticketing details, the official broadcast channels were revealed. The event match on the 13th will be streamed live via the official FC Online SOOP channel and Naver Chzzk, or directly through the game client. The main match on the 14th will be broadcast live on terrestrial network MBC, with online and in-game viewing options also available. Broadcaster Bae Sung-jae and commentator Kim Dong-wan will be on duty to deliver the live action.

Meanwhile, Nexon revealed additional legends and managers joining the 2025 ICON MATCH. England legend and striker Wayne Rooney was announced via Instagram. Arsène Wenger, the French manager who led Arsenal FC to an undefeated Premier League title, has been appointed to manage FC Spear. For Shield United, UEFA Champions League-winning manager Rafael Benítez has been named to lead the squad.
