NEXON rolled out the 4th Advancement update for its original MapleStory Worlds content, The Kingdom of the Winds Classic, on the 28th.

Warriors, Rogues, Mages, and Taoists can now ascend to Sword Saint, Tai-Saint, Sage, and True Immortal, respectively. Each class gains access to potent new 4th-tier spells. Sword Saints can rain down blades with the screen-clearing 'Blood Cleansing', while Tai-Saints summon spirits to swing their weapons in the devastating 'Soul Splitter'. Sages command the heavens with the explosive 'Meteor Shower', and True Immortals can restore 30,000 HP to themselves or allies with the 'Phoenix Blessing'.

The 4th Advancement quest chain begins with the NPC Muta in Chang'an. Players must methodically take down five bosses plotting the resurrection of the four-headed catastrophe, Vango, before facing Vango itself to seal the deal. Progression for this quest is shared among group members, allowing the entire party to complete the advancement simultaneously.

To mark the occasion, NEXON is running a celebratory event. Until September 24, players can collect 'Creation Dust' and 'Creation Ember' from slain monsters to craft 'Creation God Eggs', which contain rewards like [Season 4] Proof of Victory, Pure Steel, and special clothing items.

The developer is also continuing its hunting support event, which loans out powerful weapons daily, alongside mission events that offer bonus EXP for daily, weekly, and limited-time tasks. Finally, until October 29, a 'Season: First Emperor's Tomb' event challenges 4-player groups of diverse classes to clear four stages within a time limit for a massive EXP payout.
