NEXON has rolled out the first phase of its 'Fire in the Map' project for Sudden Attack, a nostalgic endeavour to bring back battlegrounds from the game's past.

Named after the iconic grenade-toss voice line, 'Fire in the Map' is a five-part project designed to restore a plethora of fan-favourite maps that have long since vanished.

This initial update brings back 10 maps across demolition and team deathmatch modes, including Airport, Burning River, Submarine Base, Shark Tail, One Way, Power Plant, G-Cube, and Cliffhanger, alongside fresh event maps like the 'Sudden Attack Start' mode and the hide-and-seek inspired 'Find the Spy'.

Until 11 December, you can earn 'Fire Coins' by playing on the restored maps, which can then be swapped for various in-game items. Every 10 minutes spent on these maps nets you 10 Fire Coins, with extra coins available for completing challenge quests.

The rewards rotate periodically. The first batch includes the 'Legend's Beginning (A)' title, the AWP(MG) Devil semi-transparent skin, and My Gun 2 primary weapon half-kits. There are also prizes for those who climb the leaderboards on these restored maps or successfully predict the top rankings.

Furthermore, the 'Yut-den Attack' event runs until 16 October, where you can play the traditional Yut-nori board game to snag a permanent [M]TRG21(IS) Noble Lv.1 and My Gun 2 level-up boxes. You can earn turns by completing missions or spending SP, with extra chances granted for weekend logins and playing at PC cafes.

PC cafe perks are also live until 30 October. Depending on your cumulative playtime at premium cafes, you can earn a 3-day 'Prime Hanbok Girl' trial set, PC cafe unique weapon supply boxes, and SP supply boxes. A dedicated shop also allows you to trade PC cafe coins for various items.

To commemorate Hangeul Day, from 9 October to 12 October, simply type the specified phrases in the game's global chat to earn daily rewards like the permanent Hangeul Grenade (ㅎ) and Hangeul Pistol (ㄱ).

Finally, new character models for the idol group tripleS have been released. If you collect more than 300 days' worth of characters via multi-counts by 16 October, you'll secure a 'tripleS Permanent Selection Ticket', while hitting 600 days rewards you with a Prime Hanbok Girl character set and 1,000 SP.

If you manage to collect five or more permanent sets, you'll be entered into a draw for a signed mousepad and polaroid set for 50 lucky winners. You can also use entry tickets from multi-counts to swap for permanent item seals or take a gamble on more rewards. Additionally, activating the character set for 7 days or more before 30 October nets you extra permanent seals and character tickets (up to 5 times).
