Joycity is gearing up to launch its mobile strategy title, 'BIOHAZARD Survival Unit', globally on November 18.

Co-developed by Aniplex and Joycity, this mobile strategy game leans on the beloved Resident Evil IP by Capcom. While it inherits the series' world-building, it carves out its own niche in a parallel universe with an original story.

Players are dropped into a city decimated by a mysterious virus. You'll need to construct a base alongside other survivors, scramble for resources, and engage in tactical skirmishes against creatures to stay alive.

The gameplay loop is a blend of exploration, character growth, and territorial conquest. You'll be collecting heroes, solving puzzles, and getting stuck into deeper content like forming alliances, defending your turf, or duking it out in the arena.

Since its debut in July, the game has clearly hit a nerve with players. It saw high pre-registration numbers across South Korea, Japan, and North America, extending its reach into South America and Europe. It also made quite the impression at global events like Brasil Game Show and Tokyo Game Show.

The global rollout will span 151 countries, though players in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau will have to wait until early 2026 to get their hands on it. Joycity plans to leverage its experience in global operations to keep the content fresh and hopefully turn this into a global hit.
