A PC MMORPG aiming to inherit the prestige of 'Odin' is on the horizon.

Lionheart Studio pulled back the curtain on its internally developed AAA project, 'Project O (tentative title)', by revealing its first concept art on the 17th. As a PC MMORPG that builds upon the 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' IP, it aims to lean into the current zeitgeist by sharpening the focus on adventure and cooperative gameplay, promising a grand new narrative set against the backdrop of Norse mythology.

Project O is setting its sights on evolving combat action. The team is promising a suite of diverse skills and high-fidelity raid content. Furthermore, they intend to pull players into a deeply immersive open-world experience, all powered by Unreal Engine 5.

The newly revealed art features two characters leading an expedition against the void forces threatening Midgard. It is a gritty, realistic aesthetic that certainly catches the eye.

Kang Hyung-seok, the lead development director for Project O, noted, "We are crafting Project O as a true successor to the Odin IP, reinterpreting the vast Norse mythos with top-tier visuals and gameplay." He added, "We are pouring every resource and technical capability of Lionheart Studio into this, so we look forward to your warm anticipation."
