Pearl Abyss’s open-world action-adventure title, Crimson Desert, has officially been spotlighted by Sony as one of the 'Most Anticipated Games Coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026' on the PlayStation Store.

On the 10th, Sony released a video featuring 15 highly anticipated titles, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Resident Evil: Requiem, and Saro.

Crimson Desert has been making the rounds at major global events, starting with this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC), Summer Game Fest (SGF), Bilibili World (BW), ChinaJoy (CJ), PAX East and West, and the Tokyo Game Show (TGS).

After showing off a boss-fight build focused on combat and action last year, the developer unveiled a playable version centered on the open-world questline this year.

Crimson Desert is scheduled for release on March 20 next year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
