Nexon rolled out a significant update for Sudden Attack on the 11th, featuring a large-scale overhaul of its 'Survival Mode.' The update introduces the revamped 'Rodeo' battlefield, new survival mechanics, and the launch of the Sudden Pass 2025 Final Season.

The Survival Mode has undergone comprehensive changes, with improvements to the UI and overall systems to enhance user convenience. Weapon types and performance balance have been readjusted, and a new tier and season system has been introduced to outline future operational directions. A new reward structure has also been implemented, allowing players to obtain items through containers.

Players can fill a gauge by completing missions, such as eliminating enemies, to receive these containers. Containers can be opened using keycards collected through various events, yielding a variety of items. During the trial period of the revamped Survival Mode, an 'Ice Breaking' event is available through daily missions and SP usage, alongside an exchange shop where players can use 'Survival Coins' earned by completing challenge quests or surviving for 10 minutes. Items that are no longer usable due to the Survival Mode overhaul can be dismantled in the lab to be converted into crafting materials.

The 'Sudden Pass 2025 Final Season' has also begun, offering a season weapon selection coupon as a reward for reaching level 30. The Reboot Pass, available after activating the level 30 Sudden Pass, provides a 2025 custom character selection coupon, while the Pass Shop offers upgrade coupons for existing season weapons and cosmetic items. Weapons with the 'Final Survivor' skin applied will now automatically reflect the skin when the corresponding weapon is acquired in Survival Mode.

Meanwhile, Nexon is hosting a year-end event that provides additional rewards based on the player's completion rate across all Sudden Pass seasons this year.
