NEXON held the 'Sudden Attack' 2025 Final Season Director Live Showcase at the Jamsil DN Coliseum on the 13th, where they unveiled their plans for 2026 Season 1.

Led by Director Kim Tae-hyun, the event reviewed the results of the previous season and announced the 2026 Season 1 'Wanted: Survivor' update. The 2026 Season 1 season pass will feature the new original character 'Amber' and the new weapon 'MK76(K)'.

Additionally, fan-favorite maps from the existing Survival Mode, such as 3-Supply Base and Pilot Complex, will return with new Survival Mode rules. The Survival Mode, which has been in pilot service since the 11th, is a revamped version of the original mode. The team plans to continue updating the mode with an enhanced ranking system, additional rank rewards, improved container rewards, and new content.

Pre-registrations for the Survival Mode and 2026 Season 1 begin on the 18th. Participants will receive in-game items to support their Survival Mode gameplay, and winners will be drawn to receive 30,000 NEXON Cash and various prizes. Furthermore, a Survival Mode streamer tournament and viewer events will be held.

Convenience improvements for the Aim School content are also being implemented, including infinite ammo and magazine capacity, a stage retry function, stage reduction, increased time limits, and relaxed accuracy requirements.

NEXON also shared an update on the donation of proceeds from the Sudden Attack 20th-anniversary pop-up store. The pop-up store was operated in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, last summer, and the total profit of approximately 52 million won was donated to improve the housing conditions of descendants of independence activists.

Meanwhile, the grand final of the official Sudden Attack e-sports tournament, '2025 Sudden Attack Championship Season 2,' was held on the 13th. Defending champions 'Akma' faced off against the prestigious clan 'Peu-je,' with 'Peu-je' winning 3-1, led by MVP Kim Doo-ri.
