The new title, 'The NOexistenceN of Morphean Paradox: The Forest of Silver Shallots' (hereinafter Morphean Paradox), launched on the 19th and has been drawing interest with a 'Very Positive' user rating.

Morphean Paradox is the official successor to the 2024 visual novel 'The NOexistenceN of you AND me'. The original game explored the meaning of existence through conversations between the protagonist, isolated in a room, and a mysterious girl named 'Lilith'. This sequel is set in the 'Silver Forest', a location briefly mentioned in the first game, where players embark on an adventure alongside returning characters like Lilith, Saetbyeol, and Mimi.

Unlike the visual novel format of its predecessor, this entry introduces a strategic RPG system. Players take on the role of a guild leader, managing the schedules and stats of their companions. You can boost stats or secure funds through training and part-time jobs to expand guild facilities. Additionally, players must engage in turn-based combat with enemies encountered while exploring the forest, with character-specific skill trees and an equipment system significantly expanding the gameplay volume.

The Steam user rating for Morphean Paradox is 'Very Positive' (471 reviews, 81% positive). While the unique art style and music successfully capture the atmosphere of the original and the return of familiar characters has been welcomed, several issues have emerged, including game-breaking bugs, character disappearance, missing audio, and shop system errors. The developer has announced plans for a hotfix to address the 'black screen' issue that prevents progression and is currently gathering player feedback.
