Willis Studio dropped the Steam demo for their cosy city-builder, Bell Citique, on 21 January 2026.

Bell Citique aims to scratch that particular itch left by genre staples like Townscaper or Tiny Glade, finally introducing the resident and animal systems fans have been clamouring for. Players can craft canals, tunnels, waterways, and parks using a robust building system that adapts quite naturally to the terrain.

Rather than bulldozing nature, the game encourages you to work with it. You'll be decorating with high walls, bridges, plazas, gates, and fountains that feel perfectly balanced against hills and rivers. The residents and animals add a touch of life as they bustle through markets and boulevards, even offering feedback on your architecture or requesting new additions.

The demo for Bell Citique is currently available on Steam, with the full release slated for the first half of this year.
