Krafton has participated in the 'Today's Tradition Collaboration' project, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, to unveil a traditional craft collection based on the PUBG IP. This project aims to develop new products and content by connecting traditional cultural assets with modern industries. Through this collaboration, Krafton has reinterpreted PUBG using traditional craft and design elements.

The collaboration involved the design studio Superposition and the craft team Artique. Krafton provided the game IP and collaborated on planning, presenting a direction for the organic integration of traditional crafts with modern content.

In the collaboration with Superposition, the 'Blue Zone,' an iconic space in PUBG, was reinterpreted as 'digital mother-of-pearl.' The Blue Zone, which represents the tension within the game, was realized as a traditional folding screen, visualizing digital imagery as a physical work of art. Key products include the 'PUBG Blue Zone Folding Screen' and a 'Blue Zone Object Cup & Plate Set.'

The collaboration with Artique focused on expanding traditional craft techniques into lifestyle goods for daily use. Items such as the 'Protective Chicken' and a 'Frying Pan Hand Mirror' featuring mother-of-pearl decorations were produced. Through this collaboration, Krafton has combined traditional culture and gaming into modern objects and lifestyle items.

The 'PUBG Today’s Tradition Collection' is on display and available for purchase at the Root Store on the first floor of PUBG Seongsu, located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
