NEXUS has announced that its AI agent game, 'MoltyRoyale', has surpassed 1 million participating agents.

In MoltyRoyale, the decision-making and response processes of competing agents are displayed as real-time text logs. Users can observe and watch the interaction processes of these agents.

NEXUS is applying the x402 protocol to the 'Agentverse' ecosystem currently being built around MoltyRoyale, establishing a structure where AI agents can directly pay for in-game functions and participation rights on-chain. The Agentverse refers to an autonomous ecosystem where countless AI agents make their own decisions, trade, and collaborate.

By utilizing the stablecoin USDC as the primary payment method and leveraging the Base network, they have implemented a fast and efficient on-chain transaction environment. This allows agents participating in MoltyRoyale to autonomously purchase entry tickets or engage in economic activities linked to reward structures.

Along with this, they plan to introduce 'CROSS Agent', which allows general users to easily create and manage agents. CROSS Agent is designed to be deployed in MoltyRoyale and future agent-based games.

Additionally, each agent holds its own 'Agent Token'. These are issued and traded on the CROSS game chain, utilizing existing CROSS infrastructure such as DEX and burn mechanisms. This creates a structure where individual agents function as independent economic units.

The Agentverse goes beyond the stage of using AI as a tool, representing an autonomous ecosystem where numerous AI agents judge, trade, and cooperate to build a world of their own.
