Com2uS announced that it has globally launched 'OOTP 27', the latest installment of the baseball management game 'Out of the Park Baseball' developed by Out of the Park Developments, on the 13th. OOTP 27 is available via its official website and Steam.

For the first time in the series' history, OOTP 27 introduces official licensed content for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Players can experience the intensity of international tournaments where baseball powerhouses compete, based on actual national team rosters, official brackets, and tournament formats.

OOTP 27 has expanded its scope to include the MLB and KBO leagues, as well as various leagues around the world, such as those in the Netherlands and the UK. Furthermore, the AI trade model has been enhanced to increase strategic depth, and the addition of new statistical metrics and realistic weather patterns maximizes player immersion. In the 'Perfect Team' multiplayer mode, legendary players inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, such as Rogers Hornsby, Ty Cobb, and Roy Campanella, have been newly added.

Celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, the OOTP series is a PC management game based on advanced simulation technology. It provides the strategic fun of real baseball by allowing players to handle everything from rookie drafts and player development to scouting, trade negotiations, and managerial roles. It has been recognized for its high level of perfection as a baseball simulation game, winning the Metacritic Game of the Year award in 2007 and the PC Game of the Year award in 2016.
