Adding to this, Nexon has exercised a 'no-mercy' policy, permanently terminating all commercial partnerships with the firm for their blatant breach of contract.

MapleStory is no stranger to such headaches; the game suffered a similar leak of core content during a 2024 showcase. Back then, they pursued both criminal and civil action, which resulted in a 100 million KRW compensation ruling in August 2025.
