Summer Game Fest 2026 has officially hit a record high, clocking in a staggering 62 million cumulative views, with concurrent players peaking at over 6.7 million.

Geoff Keighley, the man behind the curtain, took to X (formerly Twitter) on the 12th to drop the stats for Summer Game Fest 2026. According to his post, the event saw a 23% jump in cumulative views compared to last year, reaching a total of 62 million.

The numbers don't lie: we hit 6.7 million concurrent players. Breaking it down by platform, YouTube saw a 30% surge to 2.04 million viewers, while Twitch climbed 21% to 1.7 million. China’s Bilibili also saw a massive boost, nearly doubling to 2.8 million. Co-streaming was quite the spectacle too, with 12,875 creators joining the fray—7,912 on Twitch and 4,963 on YouTube.

As for the invitation-only offline event, Summer Game Fest: Play Days, it ran for three days of hands-on demos, seeing a 33% increase in registered attendees compared to the previous year.

This year's showcase was packed with reveals, including Resident Evil Veronica, Virtua Fighter Crossroads, the new Monster Hunter Wilds expansion Ascendance, Guild Wars 3, Alien: Isolation 2, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, Gundam Rogue Orbit, Zen Atlas, and The Wolf Among Us 2. South Korean titles also made their mark with updates on Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, the global launch schedule for Aion 2, and a new single-player title based on Crossfire.

Keighley also shared the top 10 most wishlisted games on Steam following the event: Resident Evil Veronica, Guild Wars 3, 1666: Amsterdam, Lords of the Fallen 2, Crossfire, HAEX, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Rethinked, Alien: Isolation 2, Saw: Genesis, and ILL.
