From the upcoming summer swimsuit event in July to fresh Nikke recruits, costumes, and offline festivities, they dumped a mountain of news on us. The 2026 Swimsuit Stars: Cinderella and Marciana

The secrets of the 2026 summer limited Nikkes are out. We are getting 'Cinderella: Crystal Wave' and 'Marciana: Marine Study.' Cinderella’s new iteration—let’s call her 'Swim-derella'—is already turning heads; she is the first swimsuit Nikke to feature a dynamic touch motion that alters her swimsuit design in real-time.

Both Swim-derella and 'Swim-marciana' are slated to arrive as Iron code Burst 3 dealers. The former packs a machine gun, while the latter rocks a rifle, both tailored for PvE dominance. We’re still waiting on the nitty-gritty of their skill sets via the official lounge, but the buzz is palpable. Swim-derella’s machine gun type is a first for an Iron Burst 3 unit, and Swim-marciana is set to bolster an Iron roster that has been notoriously starved for a top-tier main dealer.

The summer event, titled 'WAVE TO YOU,' follows Marciana, Tia, and Naga on their Mimir High School graduation trip, where they run into the Old Tales squad, who are currently on the hunt for Hansel and Gretel. Naturally, they find themselves stranded in mysterious, uncharted waters and decide to explore the island together. You’ll be able to roam the event map, scavenge for lost items, and kill time with the new mini-game, 'ISLAND BREAKER.'

The iconic Kraken is taking a back seat this year as a new boss, the 'Island Eater,' takes the stage. It’s a variant of the slumbering 'Land Eater,' but this one looks less like a building and more like a floating island. Expect a different attack pattern from the original; we’ll likely see this terror return as a Solo Raid boss in July. Also, don't miss the new swimsuit costumes for Little Mermaid, Tia, and Naga. Little Mermaid gets a dedicated skin gacha, while Tia and Naga will be available via event and monthly passes.

New Collectibles and Content Updates

Following the summer bombshells, the update on July 23rd brings us the 'Solo Raid Museum Hall Season 3.' You’ll be facing off against Harvester (Water), Crystal Chamber (Electric), and Indivilia (Iron). These are familiar faces, but the stakes are higher: players who surpass the top-ranking scores from previous seasons will be showered with materials for their Collectibles.

And,the team finally revealed the four Nikkes receiving new Collectibles: Phantom, Sugar, Rosanna, and Flora. With the exception of Rosanna, these characters have been somewhat sidelined in the current meta, so it will be fascinating to see how these upgrades change their utility. We’ll get the full breakdown once the July 23rd update hits.

As for the reruns, the 2025 summer limited units, 'Dorothy: Serendipity' and 'Elegg: Boom & Shock,' are making a comeback. Dorothy is a limited Pilgrim alongside Swim-derella, so you’d be wise not to miss this chance. As for Elegg, she’s a staple for Water-weak Solo Raids, though I’d recommend prioritizing Swim-derella and Dorothy first.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE also dropped a cheeky teaser for their final collaboration of 2026. The clip was blink-and-you’ll-miss-it, but keen-eyed gamers spotted the telltale logos of the 'Persona' series from Atlus. The community consensus is that we’re looking at Persona 3, 4, and 5. Details are thin on the ground, so sit tight until the summer festivities wrap up.

If you’re in Seoul, the '2026 Summer Pop-up Store' will run from July 17th to 30th at The Hyundai. Expect exclusive merch, Red Hood gaming keyboards, keycaps, and those adorable Dororong plushies.
