WEMIX, the virtual asset issued by the WEMIX Foundation, has officially been listed on the global cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. With this listing, Kraken users worldwide can trade WEMIX using the US Dollar (USD) as the base currency. Kraken is a cryptocurrency exchange established in 2011.

This listing supports the securing of liquidity for WEMIX and its exposure to Western markets. Having previously been listed in domestic, South American, and Asian markets, WEMIX is expanding its reach to institutional and individual investors in Western regions, including the US, Canada, and the UK. Wemade stated that this move is intended to leverage capital from the global financial market to enhance brand awareness and establish a foundation for attracting new participants to the ecosystem, as it accelerates the expansion of its Real-World Asset (RWA) initiative.

Wemade is pursuing expansion across fintech, cross-border payments, and the RWA market. The company is preparing to launch new games to advance its Web3 gaming ecosystem and recently unveiled StableNet, Korea's first dedicated Layer 1 blockchain for KRW-based stablecoins. Through its global alliance, GAKS, Wemade is collaborating with partners such as Chainlink Labs, Chainalysis, CertiK, Sentbe, and NICE Information & Telecommunication.
