On July 23, the history of Syuen, a fan-favourite in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and the powerhouse Missilis squad 'Matis' will be unveiled. The update also introduces powered-up versions of Laplace and Maxwell as new Nikke, alongside an expansion of the 'Solo Raid Museum' and four new Treasures.

The story event, 'PROJECT MATIS,' which peels back the layers on Syuen and the Matis squad, runs from the end of the July 23 maintenance until 23:59 on August 12. As the only one among the three CEOs whose backstory remained shrouded in mystery, interest is understandably high. You can enjoy the full-voiced narrative over three weeks, and don't forget to clear the challenge and event stages to trade for 'Advanced Recruit Vouchers' and various growth materials.

Keep a close eye on the new arrivals: 'Laplace: Ultimate Hero' and 'Maxwell: Ordinary Mechanic.' Both characters return in enhanced forms following their roles in the main story. They retain their Wind Code affinity and original weapon types—a launcher and a sniper rifle, respectively—but their roles have shifted, with Laplace now a Burst 3 Attacker and Maxwell a Burst 2 Supporter.

Laplace packs an HP-scaled attack bonus and a piercing weapon swap effect. Recruitment kicks off on July 23; feel free to dive into the game to test the mechanics yourself. Maxwell arrives a week later on July 30, bringing team-wide Max HP support and self-buffs based on HP. Given their shared synergy with HP-based scaling, they should pair quite nicely. Maxwell's recruitment opens a week later on July 30.

In addition, four new candidates for Treasures are being added: Sugar, Rosanna, Flora, and Phantom. Please note that you must clear Main Chapter 6-4 to craft these items. Keep an eye on the game after the update for specific skill details, plus adjustments to Centi's Treasure effects.

The Solo Raid Museum is also expanding. Prepare to face Harvester, Crystal Chamber, and Indivilia once more to farm replica frames and management materials for your Treasures.
