It has been 10 days since the launch of the new server for 'Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions' (hereinafter Arthdal Chronicles). Whether you are a veteran, a newcomer, or a returning player, it is time to push your character's progression to the limit. If you are serious about your growth, elemental weapons are not just an option—they are an absolute necessity.

Rare elemental weapons, specifically the Frost element, beat out Hero-grade weapons.

Naturally, we would all love to deck ourselves out in full Hero-grade gear, but let's be honest—the financial strain of doing so while leveling is simply not practical. This is where rare elemental weapons swoop in like a saviour.

Rare elemental weapons come with a stat known as 'Elemental Amplification'. You can boost this through specific gear or re-forging, drastically improving your combat efficiency. Since dungeon bosses often have elemental weaknesses, these weapons turn tough encounters into a breeze. This allows you to prioritise upgrading your armour and accessories to Hero grade first.

There are three types of rare elemental weapons: Frost, Fire, and Poison. Among them, I highly recommend the Frost element, as both crafting and collection for the codex are significantly more accessible.

The 'Essence of Frost' is essential for crafting.

To craft a rare Frost elemental weapon, you need the Essence of Frost. You can easily get your hands on this by completing the Growth Guide. Specifically, hitting 100% completion in the 'Saetbaram Sulfur Land' adventure book in Chapter 6 of the Growth Guide rewards you with 12 Essence of Frost, making the crafting process a walk in the park.

If you have already spent your materials, you can try your luck in the time-limited dungeon 'Ancient Ruins', though the drop rate is quite low. If you want better odds, I suggest the 'Frozen Plain of Illusions'. Not only is there a 6% chance to obtain the material from basic rewards, but if fortune favours you, you might even snag the finished weapon.

How to boost your Frost Elemental Amplification

To squeeze the maximum efficiency out of your Frost weapon, you must increase your Frost Elemental Amplification. Your first stop is re-forging your armour. You have six pieces of armour, and each re-forge attempt offers a chance to increase this amplification stat. With up to 1.2% per slot, go ahead and dump those surplus re-forging stones to get the most out of it.

Next, consider your accessories. Your top priority should be the 'Belt of Frost Protection' and the 'Earring of Frost Protection'. Equipping just these two grants you a massive 12% boost to Frost Elemental Amplification. There is no need to craft other accessory pieces, as they focus on resistance rather than amplification.

Finally, focus on your Codex collection. Compared to other elements, the requirements here are far fewer and the gear grade is lower, making it relatively straightforward. If you have the space, try to collect items that boost 'All Elemental Amplification' to further refine your build.

Replacing your hook is also a smart move. While most players settle for the 'Hook of Silver Dawn' provided during leveling, the 'Hook of the Blue Earth' is far superior for those using elemental weapons. From +3 enhancement onwards, it provides an 'All Elemental Amplification' bonus, which increases by 1% with every subsequent level. A pro tip: it is most efficient to select this from the '4-piece +4 Primordial Accessory Selection Box' rewarded at 75% completion of Growth Guide Chapter 6.
