NEXON announced on the 24th that it has rolled out a summer update for TalesWeaver, focusing on a major overhaul of growth content. The update aims to streamline the player journey with a variety of system refinements and fresh content additions. Most notably, the traditional quest-based growth guide has been replaced by the 'Jelly-Pi Guide System', an intuitive UI-driven approach designed to boost overall user convenience.

The revamped Jelly-Pi Guide System is neatly segmented into Growth Missions, Guide Missions, and Growth Status tabs, ensuring a seamless transition from character creation to endgame content. The Growth Mission tab provides rewards based on performance tailored to the character's level, while also linking with Burning Rush missions for extra loot. Guide Missions help players master core systems like Enchanting, Runes, and Soul Links, while the Growth Status tab allows players to track their progress and spec levels at a glance.

The developer has also revamped the entire growth trajectory, content pacing, and reward structures. Episode 1 now serves as an early-game growth route, with monster balance and experience gains adjusted accordingly. Furthermore, the progression order and recommended levels for major growth milestones have been reconfigured to better fit modern gameplay flow. Instant travel features have been added to certain quests to slash downtime, while Eternal Cave and Eternal Floor have had repetitive elements trimmed, shifting to a weekly cycle to reduce the grind. Boss and special monster drop rates have also been tweaked to ensure a more consistent supply of growth materials.

The update also introduces 'Corridor of Lumina', a new challenge mode that tasks players with rotating through multiple characters. Players can slot in up to four characters from their Rune account, navigating a route map filled with five mission nodes per stage, all the way up to level 10. With 12 mission types including boss fights, survival modes, and puzzles, the corridor forces players to think strategically, selecting routes and countering gimmicks based on each character's unique traits and stats.

To celebrate the update, NEXON is hosting a series of events running until August 27. Participating in the 'New Burning Rush' growth event grants a massive 1,000 percent experience boost, alongside a 14-day full set of 'Jean Aquilus' weapon and armor boxes, plus awakening materials. Furthermore, players can complete mini-games at the Illumination Festival to earn 'Hologram Stickers', which can be traded for various avatars and essential growth materials.

Additionally, completing daily quests three times or more grants access to the 'Jelly-Pi Vending Machine', providing dungeon entry tickets and 'buy-one-get-one' rewards. For returning players, the 'Jelly-Pi Boot Camp' offers a special incentive: by completing specific growth and event missions, returning players can have their time away from the game converted into NEXON Cash, with potential rewards reaching up to 365,000 KRW.
