Netmarble has officially rolled out the latest update for Solo Leveling: ARISE, introducing the new successor, 'Shadow Monarch Sung Jinwoo'.

As a dark-attribute successor, Shadow Monarch Sung Jinwoo unleashes coordinated strikes alongside a legion of shadows. While the core action style of the character remains, the developer has clearly cranked up the visual spectacle, ensuring that the sheer dominance and presence of the Monarch shine through in every encounter.

The kit includes 'Mirage Blade', which swings a blade of death, 'Abyss Fang', an attack that pierces foes with blinding speed, and 'Sovereign Doom', a devastating move that delivers a final verdict of destruction. You can snag this character through an in-game mission event, and fear not—recruitment remains open indefinitely.

The update also brings the new fire-attribute SSR supporter hunter 'Jung Yerim' along with a signature weapon, the 'Radiant Sigil'. Furthermore, Sung Jinwoo’s level cap has been bumped from 150 to 160, a new 'Shadow Monarch: Oppressor' job advancement has been added, and the 'Workshop of Brilliant Light' has been revamped to feature the first season boss, 'Baran, the Monarch of White Flames'. Players can also dive into new chapters 11 and 12 across Normal and Reverse Normal difficulties. To celebrate, various events, including the 'Midsummer Mermaid Commotion!', are currently live, offering plenty of rewards for those willing to grind.
