Mgame’s online action RPG 'Ares Online' celebrated its 21st anniversary on the 3rd, marking the occasion by unveiling its second-half development roadmap and launching a series of commemorative events.

'Ares Online' is a 3D RPG featuring a world defined by religious and ethnic conflict, paired with a distinct combat system. It has been a fixture in the gaming landscape since its official release in 2004, maintaining its service for 21 years.

The developer has laid out its roadmap for the latter half of the year. The schedule kicks off with the renewal of forgotten ruin dungeons and boss monsters, followed by a revamp of the Arena area for guild-based PvP. Further enhancements include a collection system for character power-ups, a new elemental system, and an increase in the maximum limit for holding in-game currency for better user convenience.

To celebrate the 21st anniversary, a seasonal event will run until October 16. During this period, players can enjoy a 210% bonus to experience points when hunting daily between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Additionally, on the 15th, a special 'birthday buff' will be active all day, providing increased base experience, along with bonus AP and moral experience.

Throughout the same period, the developer is offering daily login rewards, including 'Equipment Rental Tickets' and 'Attendance Stamps'. The rental tickets allow players to test high-end gear, such as Grade 10 weapons, reinforced White Tiger equipment, and Surt equipment, for 30 days. Attendance stamps can be exchanged for items like 2x EXP potions, large amounts of AP, and the mysterious cat-tribe transformation skin.

From the 10th to the 17th of the same month, players can visit the 'Ceris' NPC in Shamor Village to claim a gift box once per account, which includes commemorative items such as blessing ops and special fireworks. Furthermore, from the 24th to August 7, in anticipation of the summer holiday season, an event will run where logging in for a cumulative five hours daily rewards players with various items based on the day of the week.
